White Sangria with Lillet: A Twist on a Classic

Sangria is a favourite for a reason—it's refreshing, fruity, and easy to make. But if you’re looking to give this classic a little upgrade, I love adding Lillet Blanc to my white sangria. It adds a light, floral complexity that pairs beautifully with the fresh fruits.

Ingredients

What you need:

• bottle white wine (a crisp, dry wine like Sauvignon Blanc works best)
• 1/4 cup Lillet Blanc
• 1/4 cup brandy
• 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
• 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
• 1/2 cup sliced peaches
• 1/2 cup sliced green apple
• 1 orange, thinly sliced
• Ice
• Club soda (optional, for a fizzy finish)

Instructions

1. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, Lillet Blanc, brandy, and orange liqueur.
2. Add the sliced fruits and stir gently to combine.
3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to let the flavours meld.
4. Serve over ice, and if you prefer a fizzy version, top with a splash of club soda just before serving.
