Chili is a high-protein, high-fibre meal that is perfect for muscle recovery and energy replenishment after intense workouts. The combination of lean turkey, beans, and vegetables provides a hearty and filling dish.
Cook mode Prevent screen from turning off Instructions 1. Cook the turkey: In a large pot, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Break it up with a spoon as it cooks. 2. Sauté the veggies: Add the onion, garlic, and red bell pepper to the pot. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. 3. Add the beans and spices: Stir in the kidney beans, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, chilli powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes to let the flavours combine. 4. Assemble the meal prep containers: Once the chili is done, let it cool slightly before dividing it into 4-5 containers. 5. Store: Keep in the fridge for up to 4 days. This chili also freezes well, so you can freeze individual servings for later.
