Simple yet sophisticated, this dish pairs the saltiness of prosciutto with the earthiness of roasted asparagus and a sweet-tart balsamic glaze for a truly gourmet appetizer.

Ingredients

• - Fresh asparagus spears
• - Prosciutto slices
• - Olive oil
• - Balsamic vinegar

Instructions

1. 1. Trim the tough ends of the asparagus and blanch in boiling water for a minute, then cool in ice water.
2. 2. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of prosciutto.
3. 3. Drizzle with olive oil and roast at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes until crispy.
4. 4. Reduce balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan to make a thick glaze.
5. 5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the prosciutto-wrapped asparagus before serving.
