Caesar salad dressing is creamy, tangy, and packed with flavour! It’s the perfect topping for crisp romaine lettuce, crunchy croutons, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Making your own Caesar dressing at home is super easy and tastes way better than storebought. Here’s a simple, authentic recipe you’ll love!
Cook mode Prevent screen from turning off Instructions Prepare the Dressing Base: In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise , parmesan cheese , lemon juice , Dijon mustard , and minced garlic . Add the Flavourings: Stir in the Worcestershire sauce , anchovy paste (or mashed anchovy fillets), and freshly cracked black pepper . Add salt to taste, depending on how salty you like your dressing. Whisk and Blend: Slowly whisk in the olive oil to bring everything together and make the dressing smooth and creamy. If the dressing seems too thick, add a tiny bit more lemon juice or water to reach your desired consistency. Taste and Adjust: Give the dressing a taste! If you want more tang, add extra lemon juice. If you prefer more saltiness, a bit more anchovy paste or Worcestershire sauce will do the trick. Serve: Pour the Caesar dressing over your salad, toss it well with romaine lettuce , top with croutons , and sprinkle a little extra parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy!
