Chocolate Fondue: The Sweet Finale

Ingredients

• 8 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate (or a mix of both)
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• A pinch of salt

Instructions

1. In a heatproof bowl or fondue pot, combine the chocolate and heavy cream.
2. Heat gently over low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
3. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
4. Keep the fondue warm over a fondue burner.

Dippables for Chocolate Fondue

1. Fruit: Strawberries, banana slices, apple slices, pineapple chunks, or orange segments
2. Marshmallows: Regular marshmallows or gourmet flavored marshmallows
3. Cookies & Biscuits: Biscotti, shortbread cookies, graham crackers, or ladyfingers
4. Cake: Cubes of pound cake, angel food cake, or brownie bites
5. Pretzels: Mini pretzels for a salty-sweet contrast
