Brown Sugar Glazed Ham

A beautifully glazed ham is the centerpiece of this meal. The sweet and tangy glaze caramelizes as it bakes, creating a deliciously sticky crust.

Ingredients

• 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (7-9 lbs)
• 1 cup brown sugar
• ½ cup honey
• ¼ cup Dijon mustard
• ¼ cup orange juice
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• ½ tsp ground cloves

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Place the ham in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
2. Bake for 1 ½ hours, or until warmed through (about 10-12 minutes per pound).
3. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, orange juice, cinnamon, and cloves. Simmer over medium heat until the glaze thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
4. Remove the foil from the ham and score the surface with shallow cuts in a diamond pattern. Brush half of the glaze over the ham.
5. Return the ham to the oven and bake uncovered for another 30-40 minutes, basting every 10 minutes with the remaining glaze.
6. Let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
